Gaza, Genocide and the World’s Most Heinous Crime

Since October 7th, 2023 our brothers and sisters in Gaza have never slept peacefully. It’s been 9 months of survival in the war zone with countless non-humanitarian acts. Killing kids, stripping men, and abusing women to a horrible extent. Countless hideous acts and lives of innocent people have been taken away.
Basic human rights are taken away to such an extent that they have eaten grass out of hunger. A mother of Gaza has been questioning whether it is halal to cut her arm and feed that to her hungry children. The people are operated with minimal medical equipment. Israel not only started a war but also tried to cut them away from the world. however, they did not give up Hope on the best of planners. This reminds us of the faith of Ibrahim AS when he was thrown into the fire.
قَالُوۡا حَرِّقُوۡهُ وَانْصُرُوۡۤا اٰلِهَتَكُمۡ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ فٰعِلِيۡنَ
They said: “Burn him and help your Gods, if you will be doing[21:68]
قُلۡنَا يٰنَارُ كُوۡنِىۡ بَرۡدًا وَّسَلٰمًا عَلٰٓى اِبۡرٰهِيۡم
Allah said: “O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim [21:69]
وَاَرَادُوۡا بِهٖ كَيۡدًا فَجَعَلۡنٰهُمُ الۡاَخۡسَرِيۡنَ
And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers[21:70]
Out of all the horrible acts, ripping children from their mothers😭Ya Rabb when we saw that the mothers of Gaza are having their dead children in their hands and saying “Take from us till you are pleased” reminds us the sacrifice of Ibrahim AS’s son based on the dream that you have given him.
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعۡىَ قَالَ يٰبُنَىَّ اِنِّىۡۤ اَرٰى فِى الۡمَنَامِ اَنِّىۡۤ اَذۡبَحُكَ فَانْظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرٰىؕ قَالَ يٰۤاَبَتِ افۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِىۡۤ اِنۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الصّٰبِرِيۡنَ

And, when his son was old enough to walk with him, he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you, so look what you think!” He said: “O my father! Do that which you are commanded, In Sha Allah, you shall find me of As-Sabirin[37:102]
فَلَمَّاۤ اَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهٗ لِلۡجَبِيۡنِۚ
١٠٣
Then, when they had both submitted themselves and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead[37:103]
Takeaways:
- The love, and relationship with Allah SWT is above everything and he knows the reason behind everything that happens.
- They are the chosen one’s who are being tested in a way similar to our Prophet Ibrahim AS. In shaallah for a blessed Aakhirah. This shows that this life is temporary and we need to live for Aakhirah.
- Even after being tested in every way they never lost their faith in Allah SWT. Having faith is a blessing that one should never take for granted.
- UMMAH is one body. If they bleed we bleed.
- Are you ready? Are you ready if this test comes your way?
They mentioned, “Talk about us and don’t forget us”. Ya Allah, you gave us a chance to remind everyone. Enable everyone who reads this to talk about them.
